The District School Board of Collier County approved the 2026 CCPS Florida Legislative Platform at the Regular School Board Meeting on October 8, 2025.
Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) and the Collier County Education Association (CCEA) met on September 24, 2025 for the ninth bargaining session for the 2025–26 school year.
STEAM Expo will be held on January 31, 2026. Submit your proposal today.

Welcome to Corkscrew Elementary, where “the Bears LEAD the way to Excellence”. We strive at Corkscrew to implement student-centered, engaging instruction where student achievement is our staff’s end in mind! As we continue our journey as a Leader in Me school, we encourage our students to be leaders and use their voice in their education. We are extremely fortunate to have an active PTA (Parent Teacher Association), SAC (School Advisory Council), and community members who support the daily work happening in our school community. Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and on our campus! We encourage you to join these groups to be actively involved in your child’s education.
